My (sometimes) sweetie pie...

Breyton has definitely always been ALL boy with non stop rowdy, dare devil, mischievous behavior. The two's have been plenty of that as well, BUT lately he has started having a more compassionate/sweet side to him. It's been really neat to watch his empathy grow. Plus, the amount of snuggling he asks for has gone up a lot which of course I love. He is always saying,  "sit on couch, mommy" or "want to sit in daddy's lap" and it's not usually good enough to sit by us he has to sit on us. He's back to loving rocking as well(yay!). And in between plenty of reckless behavior.....he's also started 'taking care' of his stuffed animals ALL the time now....loves to rock them, read to them, put them 'night, night', offer them snacks, etc. He has a special mouse stuffed animal that he really favors we even started taking it places, like walmart, with us. I love watching all this because it's nice to think one day down the road when he has a sibling that he is really starting to understand how to be gentle, caring, and loving....because I was seriously worried about that day, but he's given me reassurance lately that he will be a great big brother when the time comes! He will always be wild and crazy, but I know he is going to have a big heart. :)

Homemade ice cream adventure...

We tried yet another recipe we found on pinterest today.......and it was super yummy! I'm quite impressed it turned out like it said it would considering how simple it was. Homemade ice cream in a bag and it tasted EXACTLY like regular homemade ice cream. Breyton had a ton of fun helping make it...he loves to repeat the ingredients after me as we put them in and then he got to help shake the bag for 8 min. He ran around in circles and rolled on the floor with it saying 'shake-shake'! lol Of course his favorite part was helping eat it:o) He kept saying "mmmm-mmm" and "more, more". It was really fun and can see a lot of possibilities off add -ins instead of plain vanilla...so we will definitely be making it again! Yum-O!

                                             Helping shake the bag!
                                                 Running around......
                                                        The result.....
                                         Eating it....
                                                    Yum.....

Leaves, leaves, leaves

Breyton and his friends got to enjoy jumping in a huge pile of leaves today and they had a blast! Another plus of fall and weather like today is a dream. Wish time could have slowed down and the day wasn't over already!

Family Movie Night

We had another family movie night the other evening and they are becoming so fun! Breyton is really starting to love movies and actually SIT with us during one. We let him pick the movie and of course I regretted it because he chose a sad one, 'Eight Below', and anything with animals dying(along with pretty much anything else :/) makes me cry. I think that's the 3rd time B has asked to watched that movie and I cry every time, but he seems to love it!(On the plus side it does have Paul Walker in it hehe)
Id have to say Breyton's favorite movie is "Babe" though and we've watched that like 10 times.....luckily even though I hadn't seen it since it came out forever ago its still a really cute movie.
Not too cheesy, so we don't mind watching it over and over..... yet.

The three of us snuggled up in the big chair...Breyton, like a typical guy, was already to zoned in on the TV to look for a picture!

Afterwards daddy and B had a tickle fight and B thought it was hilarious :o)

Halloween!

Hard to believe this was already B's 3rd Halloween! He definitely understands the meaning of candy this year and had his fair share of it! The rest mom and dad confiscated for themselves:) This year I was pretty lazy on the costumes and went the cheap route. I like free things and since we already had everything it made the costume a winner. Plus a 2 yr old with a 5'oclock shadow is soo cute!

Here's my little beggar:( His actual sign was supposed to say will "beg" for candy, but it didn't in these pics) and trust me he begs!!

Breyton and his bud Jennings before trick or treating in our neighborhood:

And here's Breyton on his first 2 Halloween's as a Cowboy(almost 3 months old) and a scare crow (almost 15 months):

                                  Cutest Scarecrow ever=D

Breyton and Jennings last year as well.....

These 2 make my world go round....

Its November! Crazy. Because just yesterday I remember saying it was October 1st. Yet another month has flown by! I'm not a fan of winter, but I love Thanksgiving and Christmas!!! Guess this is the month of gratitude, not that we shouldn't be thankful all year around, but it can be fun to have a holiday reminding us  to be!

So in case I haven't said it lately I'm sooo thankful for my husband and son...God really blessed me with these men! Just felt like having a post revolving around how wonderful they are:)
With Mason finishing up school(come on May!!) and work he doesn't get to be around as much as we'd like, but I love the time we do have together. Breyton loves the time he gets with his dad playing rough and loud. Mason always gets B all riled up before bedtime when we are supposed to be winding down, but I've come to accept that's what  boys do! I love watching them together and I know there is going to be many fun times between those two in the future....Mason always talks about all the 'man' things they are going to do down the road and he's already so proud of Breyton. I'm so blessed to have a husband who loves me and who will be a great example of who we want our son to be.
Pics of my two loves since the beginning:
