Things to remember-October...

I think fall is my new favorite season as opposed to summer! Now if fall could last till next spring and we could skip winter it would be perrrfect! Ive been in a baking mood all day and may have cooked enough food to last us for a few days....which will be nice since I'll be burnt out on cooking for a day or two possibly.
Breyton and I spent our morning going on a long walk collecting acorns and sticks and I seriously love random little memories we make....the best ones are usually unplanned!

Some of the little things he's doing this month that I want to remember:

1)Now says "I want to see.." about anything and everything,...curiosity enough for the both of us and has to be in the know!

2)Bossy, bossy, BOSSY. He will tell you when to go, where to sit, what to do....and you dont have to ask! I may want to forget this one actually, but sometimes it's cute.

3)Ok this one is not a great quality either, but it makes me laugh: He may be curious about everything, however, he does not want me teaching him things unless he asks.....like try singing the abc's or counting and he will no joke plug his ears or scream. I'm kind of giving up on teaching....he has to learn it one day, right??

4)And because this one doesn't get old I'll say it again...still tells us "I wuv you" and gives hugs often.

5)He doesn't forget things easily. He always remembers walmart is the place with the fish tanks and we must visit them! Also, theres a place we drive by every time we go anywhere that has cows and horses and he always knows when that spot is coming up.

6)Will literally live outside...if allowed.

7)This one makes me sad when it happens: I usually rock him for a few minutes before naps and bedtime to get him drowsy, but now hes occasionally asking for 'bed' right away. My baby is slowly out growing the need for rocking,  but I will continue to drag it out as long as possible. I always say 'Are you sure. no lets rock for a little bit"....

8)Loves dirt....currently does not like baths.

9) One of his highlights of the day is waiting for the school bus to come by that lets the kids off in our neighborhood and still looks forward to trash day to watch the trash truck

10)And lastly though he doesn't act like it all the time and can be quite mean and independent....mommy is still his favorite person. Love my momma's boy.

Home sweet home

Its true no matter where you go, there's no place like home......though if my home was moved by a beach I'd be perfectly happy there too. Mason and I had an awesome vacation in Florida visiting the beach and his brother and sis-in-law of course. It was nice getting to spend a little more time with them since we only see them a few times a year and we r pretty lucky that of all places they could live its somewhere so beautiful and fun! But Im so thankful to be back home spending my days with a now even more ornery B.....I do think all that extra time a the grandparents made him more spoiled!
Even though it was hard to leave him behind for this trip I'm really glad we did:) You cant fully appreciate a vacation with your husband until after you have children. Its all the little things like theres no rush. no schedule, no early bedtimes, enjoying meals in complete peace, just do anything you want or nothing at all.....and we soaked up every minute! I do admit we did talk quite a lot about Breyton and what he'd think of this or that, his reactions to things, funny things he'd say, oh how he'd love this, etc, however, that's just what us parents do, right?  Overall I did quite well and enjoyed our time knowing that B was having plenty of fun back home. Our next trip, which may be a little while down the road, will be Breyton's turn to come along again and I'm already looking forward to it!
  Some of my favorite moments:

                                          Last full day there relaxing
on the beach the whole morning:

Trip all 4 of us took to an island to see
an old lighthouse and a beautiful beach.

I believe this was Saturday nights sunset and the weather was
perfect after it rained most the day...God is just amazing isn't he??

Same night just having fun walking
down the beach and getting icecream:)

This pic was us joking around because there was some
couple next to us making out, so we decided to take a pic and i kinda like it:)
